How to Order Prints and Specs

Ordering Paper Prints Using FastBid

Step 1: Select and Open a project...In Posted Projects or On-line Plan Center

Step 2: Select "Plans" or "Specs"

Selecting "Plans" or "Specs" will open the FastBid Viewer.

Step 3: Select "Order Prints" (At the top left of screen)

Step 4: Select the drawings or specs to include in Print Order

Select the drawings or specification pages that you wish to include in your print order.

To select more than one drawing or spec page, hold down the "Ctrl" key and click each line with the left mouse button. To select a sequence of documents, left mouse click at the top of the sequence, then hold down the "Shift" key while clicking at the bottom of the sequence.

Indicate if you want the drawings printed at full or half size or if you want the specification pages printed single side or both sides (Duplexing).

Be sure to enter the number of copies you want printed.

Step 5: Select a reprographic firm

First, scroll down until you see a list of states, then select the link for your state. (See image above)

Next, select a firm from the list of available Reprographics firms near you. (See image below)

You may come back to this list (using your browser's Back Arrow) to select a different printer if you want to invistigate more than one firm.

Step 6: Review the Firm's price list and delivery services

If you wish to review other reprographics firms, select your browser's Back Arrow to return to the selection screen.

Step 7: Select a Firm and Complete the Print Order form

When you find a reprographic firm that meets your needs, click on their radio button, then click on "Finish Order".

Complete the Order Form (See image below)..., then select "Preview Order".

After you select "Preview Order", a summary of your print order will be displayed. You will have an opportunity to back up and revise your order or change reprographics firms if you change your mind.

Step 8: Review the print order and submit

The "Preview Order" screen, provides a summary of your print order.

You may back up and revise your order or change reprographics firms if you change your mind.

When you are satisfied that the order meets your needs, click on "Place Order".

Step 9: Call Reprographic Firm to confirm
(especially if this is your first time ordering)
