Description:
Seattle Public Schools is requesting curriculum proposals from prospective vendors/publishers in order to adopt Elementary School ELA instructional materials to be implemented beginning in the 2026-27 school year. This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to provide our Selection Committee with the materials and information needed to conduct a thorough review of potential elementary school ELA instructional materials. The district is using a modified 2-Step competitive process. During Step 1, the Selection Committee shall review curriculum proposals and determine a short list of instructional materials to move forward for RFP Step 2 for Field Testing. Step 2 participation will be by invitation only to a short list of selected finalist firms to provide sample instructional materials to be “Field Tested” amongst a sample set of teachers and students.
