Description:
The Seattle School District No. 1 (“District”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to provide focused expanded learning enrichment services during the SPS Summer Learning Program 2025 term (July 8 - August 1st, 2025) in one or more of the following areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, or Math that can include exposure to career discovery/exploration. Seeking organizations that can articulate ways in which they can or have contributed to supporting students furthest from educational justice and provide a safe, welcoming, and joyful learning environment. Additionally, CBOs will respond with qualifications around capacity for meeting Summer Program schedules and staffing specifications. (Specific details including schedule, dates, and location are listed below in Section 5.0 Project Information.Section 6.1 provides the short answer essay questions will be asked to help determine if CBOs meet the required qualifications.) It is the intent of the District to award the project listed above to one vendor per school, however, a vendor can be awarded to provide services to multiple schools.
