Description:
Construction of a new school building for Valhalla Elementary including attendant site work. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Clearing, grading, excavation and storm water utilities, for a portion of the site; building utilities, including but not limited to, gas, electricity, telephone, and communications, as indicated in the Drawings. Connection of the building to side sewer and domestic water utilities is included in the scope of work. A portion of site work has already been completed under separate contract, including clearing, grading, excavation, and some utilities, including but not limited to storm-water, side sewer, and domestic water. Demolition of the existing school building and other site elements, as indicated in the Drawings. Plantings, landscaping, paving and other site improvements, as indicated in the Drawings. Construction of a new two-story wood framed building of approximately 53,000 SF building, slab on grade and concrete topping over wood deck, with some concrete masonry, with all related structural, mechanical, electrical, food service, acoustical components and interior finishes, as indicated in the Drawings. Compliance with Washington Sustainable Schools Protocols, as indicated in the Drawings.
