Description:
Base Bid: Construction of a new roof structure to cover outdoor play space. Construction is anticipated during summer break, 2026, when school is not in session. The proposed project consists of an unenclosed mass timber roof structure supported by steel columns encased in concrete over an existing asphalt-paved play area. Amenities include new basketball hoops and new painted striping for a variety of play activities. Bid documents include alternates.

Alternate #1 - Paving: Remove and replace asphalt paving below the play structure, as indicated in contract documents, to achieve a smooth, flat, and continuous playing surface.

Alternate #2 - Electrical: Provide noted fixtures, exposed conduit, and wiring associated with lighting, intercom, and power scopes as indicated in Contract Documents.
