Description:
Improvements to be included within this Project are as follows: Install the restroom building (provided by City, manufactured by Rometc) and connect utilities, add walkways, remove, and install new playground equipment, remove and install new play surfacing, basketball hoop, gazebo structure and other park amenities. A more detailed scope of work can be found in the bid packet. The city invites interested firms to bid on this project. This project is funded in part by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds administered by Pierce County through its Human Services Department, and by funds from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office through the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The project is therefore subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act, the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, and the Build America, Buy America Act.
