Description:
This Contract is to reestablish floodplain connectivity, restore the natural stream processes within and adjacent to the project area and improve public access. The work includes the following elements: Levee excavation; Channel excavation and riprap removal; Creation of habitat mounds; Installation of six distinct types of large wood structures, some include driven log piles; Culvert replacement; Wetland, wetland buffer, and habitat mound plantings; and Trail and public access improvements within the project area, and other work.
