Description:
The contemplated work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, temporary erosion and sedimentation control work, demolition, and earthwork; demolition and replacement of the existing floating dock system. Work includes removal and disposal of the existing floating dock; protection of the existing concrete abutments and boat launch to remain; construction of a new cast-in-place concrete abutment extension; and installation of a new floating dock system, including an accessible kayak launch, railings, floats, benches, cleats, and associated appurtenances. The Work also includes existing pavement renovation; installation of new concrete, asphalt, and crushed gravel paving for paths, curbs, and parking areas and associated paving work; installation of site furnishings and signage; beach sand restoration; weed removal; and installation of landscape planting and seeded lawn areas. Bid Alternate Work includes removal and replacement of the existing drinking fountain, installation of a sanican enclosure, and paving improvements along the trail to the ADA campsites.
