Description:
Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Painting existing airfield markings, removal of existing markings, and removal of rubber deposits in accordance with FAA AC 150/5340-1M or later. Airfield activity will be under the direct escort of airport Operations personnel for safety and security.
A majority of the project, if awarded, will be completed during daylight hours when conditions are dry, a minimum of 50 degrees F and rising.

It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that all removed paint, rocks, chips, or debris are cleaned and completely removed after each area is complete. The Airport shall determine, and inform the Contractor, whether the area(s) where work was performed meets the standards for normal Airport operation prior to re-opening the selected section of the airfield. Prior to commencing work, a mandatory FOD/safety meeting will be provided by the Airport that must be attended by all Contractor representatives working on this specific job. At this time, the Contractor must provide to the Airport an adequate plan for mitigating the occurrence of FOD.
